Welcome to the Leigh Woods Society

Leigh Woods is a residential area set in trees bordered by the Clifton Suspension Bridge, National Trust Woodlands and the 90 acre estate of Ashton Park.  It is a unique area in Bristol and North Somerset that fosters friendship and the creation of sociable neighbourhood for all ages. Leigh Woods has approximately 275 households (all types of property) and has an active ‘Society’.

Set up in 1994,  the aims of the Leigh Woods Society are:

‘To further the interests of residents and to preserve and protect the amenities of the area for the benefit of residents.  We look at local issues and represent the community in dealing with important local bodies.  We disseminate useful information and provide a network within which to socialise locally, notably at our ever popular summer and winter parties’.
